The Humanitarian Education and Pedagogy Working Group (HEPWG) is delighted to announce a presentation by ALNAP on their Learning Links resource. Learning Links was developed to make the wealth of ALNAP’s library more accessible for the teaching community. It’s often difficult to quickly find quality learning materials which cover current policy discourses or humanitarian debates. ALNAP’s library has thousands of resources that speak to these topics, but they previously weren’t categorised in a user-friendly way. Learning Links offers a range of both written and audio-visual materials – historical examples, current discourses, analyses and research – organised around humanitarian topics so that educators can quickly browse through and use them to enhance their teaching. The categorisation may also inspire teachers to add topics to their syllabi or lesson plans. Each chapter also offers a suggested set of exercises and assignments so that students can engage with the readings more intentionally.
