Kristin Bergtora Sandvik
Dr. Kristin Bergtora Sandvik is a senior researcher at The Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). Sandvik has previously worked internationally as a children’s rights activist. She holds an S.J.D. from Harvard Law School. Her work on the socio-legal aspects of humanitarianism has appeared in the Journal of Human Rights Practice, the International Journal of Refugee Law and PoLAR: The Political and Legal Anthropology Review, among other.
Why am I running?
I would like to continue as part of the IHSA board to act as a liaison between IHSA and the humanitarian tech & innovation community; to further dialogue between academics, practitioners and private sector actors; and to contribute to make the association a strong stakeholder in the dialogue about the future of humanitarian ethics.
