Joost Herman is Professor in Globalisation Studies and Humanitarian Action at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is also the Director of the Network on Humanitarian Action (NOHA), President International NOHA Association and the Director of Globalisation Studies Groningen Institute (GSG) at the University of Groningen.
