As a part of our efforts to connect the actors in the humanitarian sector, we created a selection of humanitarian blog pages to make it easier for our readers to find relevant information and opinions from the field.
IHSA prepares a weekly collection of blog posts that relate to humanitarian crises, and the responses to crisis from people, communities, politicians, and humanitarians.
In the list below you can find the list of our suggested blog pages from the humanitarian sector. This blog repository is complemented with our newsletter in which we make a selection of the best articles from these blog pages in the previous week. Blogs are organised by language: English, Spanish and French.
All selected blog posts, since the start of the weekly selection, have been archived in one blog directory. This database can be searched by theme, country and more.

IHSA does not publish their own blogs. We select posts from organisations below and other colleagues in the field. This selection is managed by Lois Viller and curated by Mihir Bhatt, Nicolás Caso, and Christo Gorpudolo.
We are currently looking for new additions to the team.
Once every 5 weeks you will be in charge of the final blog selection, what does that mean:
– You will read a pre-selected list of about 15 blogs (chosen from 70+ blog pages)
– You will choose a final selection of 8 to 10 blogs
– You will write a short introduction of one paragraph (related to the chosen blogs)
– This is an unpaid, voluntary position
